Ramona: My favorite TV Program

In the year 2017 I discovered a Chilean TV
series that the channel TVN was broadcasting every Sunday. This TV series was
called “Ramona”, and it was directed by Andrés Wood, and his producer. When I watched
the first chapter of this series, it became my favorite TV program.
Ramona was about the Chilean society in the
decade of 60’, specifically about the life of a young girl who lived in the
country and lost her mother, and this meant living with her abusive father and
her sister. She decided to leave her house in the country and go to the city
with her sister, to leave the matters down to luck. In this context she was
part the building of a campsite and the poverty that was there. This period of
history was politically difficult and showed the important fight and
organization of women.
The characters are very sentimental and
strong, because their reality wasn’t easy. They were complicated.
My favorite episode was the chapter six
called “Crece la familia” because it shows the woman strong when a tragedy
happens.
In general I like
the series because this showed the reality of campsite and the important role
of women.
This is all,
Bye!!
