Post 8: Personal Opinion

Hi, today I will talk about four topics: violence on TV, and “barras bravas”.

¿What is your opinion about violence on television?

First, my opinion about violence on television is very simple: this is so bad and disgusting. The TV is a massive media that keeps people informed and entertainment. Millions of people around the world watch TV, and learn about the life through TV programs. Obviously in the last years the TV lost importance and others media was taken the leadership. But, this does not mean that the way that TV handles its contents is not relevant, its contents might hurt the personal sensibilities.

The TV is so dangerous because it shows an image of the reality that doesn’t the only and it makes people believe that different facts and situations happen the only way. This is so violent because force people's beliefs about, for example, the woman, the upbringing, the students, the political actors, and the love. This beliefs mark the imaginary collective, and later to change it is so difficult.

¿What is your opinion about “barras bravas”?

I think that “barras bravas” harm to people can see football and it’s stigmatized to fanatic of this sport.  The “barras bravas” is a violent group of people, they think that football is a war between fanatics, and they used the sport to do influences traffic, and own benefit, maybe monetary or take drugs and sell it.

They work like true mafias around persons with big power, but there are groups more little that their power is reduced. In general, they are destroying field or different things around the place where to be the game.  

During the football game the “barras bravas” force people, and fight with others.  For that I think that “barras bravas” must not exist, but this is so difficult because they have big power.
